Temperature measurements of the Eystri Rangá River

Measurements have been made of the temperature of the Eystri Rangá River to better understand how the river heats up on its way down from the highlands and what effect cold streams flowing into the river have on cooling it down. 

We chose these two locations as the upper and lower areas before the cold streams enter the river and cool it, we can expect that this is the area most likely to have temperatures that are favorable for spawning. The distance between the measurement sites is 14 km.
